This BDFHYK wheel adapter set is designed to convert a compatible 5x4.5, or 5x114.3, vehicle-side bolt pattern to a 5x5, or 5x127, wheel-side pattern. The conversion can support selected JK- or WK-style wheel installations on verified TJ, YJ, XJ, or MJ hubs without replacing the axle or hub assembly. Each adapter is approximately 1.25 inch, or 31.75 mm, thick.

The adapter also moves the wheel outward by approximately 31.75 mm per side. That change can create additional inner clearance and a wider stance, but it also reduces effective wheel offset and outer fender space. Confirm the complete vehicle, adapter, wheel, tire, and hardware combination before ordering.

Common Jeep Fitment Scenario

A wheel described as “JK style” is not automatically compatible with every TJ, YJ, XJ, or MJ installation.

Clearance and Wheel Position

The 1.25 inch thickness may help create space between the inner tire or wheel and a control arm, suspension component, brake part, or inner liner. Because the wheel is also moved outward, check the outer tire shoulder against the fender flare, sheet metal, bumper edge, and liner. Clearance should be checked at full steering lock and through suspension compression, not only while the vehicle is parked straight.

Tighten the vehicle-side hardware in a star pattern using a calibrated torque wrench, then mount the wheels with compatible lug nuts. Do not stack adapters or add another spacer. Recheck torque after the initial driving period and inspect the hardware and mounting faces whenever the wheels are removed.
