Signs Your Front Suspension Needs Replacement

Multiple worn front-end components can affect steering response, alignment, tire wear, and overall vehicle stability. Common symptoms include:

  • Clunking or Knocking Over Bumps — Worn control arm bushings, ball joints, or sway bar links may cause noticeable front-end noise.

  • Loose or Wandering Steering — Worn inner or outer tie rod ends can create excessive steering play and poor straight-line tracking.

  • Uneven Tire Wear — Worn control arms and steering components may affect alignment and contribute to irregular tire wear.

  • Vehicle Pulling Left or Right — Excessive front-end wear can affect suspension geometry and steering stability.

  • Front-End Vibration or Unstable Handling — Worn suspension and steering components may make the vehicle feel less controlled, especially on rough roads.

Why Choose BDFHYK Front Suspension Repair Kit

  • Complete Control Arm Replacement — Not Just Ball Joints
Includes complete upper and lower control arm assemblies, allowing worn lower control arm bushings and ball joints to be replaced together instead of retaining the original lower control arms.

  • Replace the Lower Control Arm Assembly — Not Just the Ball Joint
Ideal when aging lower control arm bushings or complete assemblies need replacement in addition to the ball joints.

  • Restore Steering & Handling
Helps address front-end looseness, clunking, wandering, and handling issues associated with worn suspension and steering components.
  • Direct Replacement Design
Components are designed around factory mounting locations for straightforward replacement on compatible vehicles.

Complete Control Arm Kit vs. Ball Joint Repair Kit

Not every front-end repair requires the same replacement parts. Choose the repair solution based on the condition of your existing lower control arms and bushings.

Choose the Complete Control Arm Kit when:
Your vehicle has high mileage, cracked or worn lower control arm bushings, front-end clunking, or multiple worn suspension components.

Choose a Ball Joint Repair Kit when:
Your existing lower control arms and bushings are still in good condition and only the ball joints and related steering components require replacement.

Installation Guide

  • Verify vehicle fitment and reference numbers before installation.

  • Safely raise and support the vehicle using appropriate lifting equipment.

  • Remove the worn upper and lower control arms, tie rod ends, and sway bar links.

  • Install each replacement component at the corresponding factory mounting location.

  • Tighten all suspension and steering fasteners to the vehicle manufacturer's specified torque values.

  • Perform a professional wheel alignment after installation.

Important Notes

  • Check the exact model and year in the fitment table before ordering; fitment years vary by model.

  • This kit includes complete lower control arm assemblies, not just separate lower ball joints.

  • Verify OE/reference numbers when confirming compatibility.

  • A professional wheel alignment is recommended after installation.

  • Suspension and steering components should be installed according to factory service procedures.

It Worked for me!

They worked perfectly for my 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3 RWD.
I had to use my original boot because the new one was a bit small. My OEM ones were not damaged so it was not an issue for me.

2010 nissan murano perfect fit easy to install .did it in the driveway

This is a perfect replacement at much less than OEM, making it a great value. It was well made and it fit my Murano as expected. After installation, the vibration I had been feeling in the front end was gone. Highly recommend!

Works great!

I recently replaced the front lower control arms on my 2014 Chevrolet Equinox with this 4-piece set, and I'm very impressed! The control arms come with ball joints, ensuring a complete and reliable replacement. Installation was straightforward, and they fit perfectly. My vehicle now handles much better, and there's less noise and vibration when driving. This set is compatible with both the Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain, making it a great option for several models. Highly recommend for anyone needing a solid replacement!

Good quality

Can't speak to any part of installation because I am not a mechanic, but the actual parts are good quality and my mechanic was impressed with what I gave him. I'm just glad that I'll only be paying for installation since the parts would've been more expensive letting the shop get them. Good quality, really heavy and durable. And from what I was told, the price is very good. Also packaged and shipped very nicely.

Works on my old cadillac escalade.

This 4?piece tie rod end kit turned out to be a pretty practical purchase for my Escalade. If your steering has been feeling loose, clunky, or youre hearing that familiar popping sound when turning, these parts are usually the culprit. The kit includes both inner and outer tie rod ends, so you can refresh the whole setup at once instead of mixing old and new parts. Its a good fit for anyone trying to tighten up the steering on an older GM SUV without going overboard on cost.

Installing them is pretty straightforward if youve done basic front?end work before. Breaking the old tie rods loose can take a little patiencepenetrating oil helps a lotbut once theyre off, threading the new ones in is simple. I like to count the number of turns when removing the old ends so the alignment stays close enough to drive to the shop afterward. The new joints feel solid, and the boots fit snugly, which helps keep dirt and moisture out.

After everything was installed, the steering felt noticeably tighter and more predictable. Its not a dramatic upgrade, but it definitely brings back that stable, confident feel these trucks had when they were newer. This kit is best suited for Escalade owners who want a reliable, no?nonsense replacement that restores proper steering without any fuss.

Seems like a good replacement part.

I will be installing this upper control arm with ball joint very soon. The part seems to be well made and looks like good quality metal. I'm not sure how easy it will be to install, so I am having a garage do the install. This price seems to be very reasonable and comparable to others I have looked at before ordering this one. It looks like it is just like the one on my truck, so I assume it will fit well.

Looks like a decent qaulity part

This looks like a low cost option for a gmc truck upper ball joint. I have done a couple of these over the years and this looks like the other budget minded parts I have got from the big box type part stores for a lower price. The finish looks decent but 4 stars because it scratch pretty easy. In a year of use, I suspect this will look like a rusty 10 year old part. I have not installed this yet but it mocks up like it will fit well.

Steering like a dream

After installing the C-notch kit on my 06 Silverado, I figured I might as well keep the upgrades rolling and swapped in these BDFHYK Front Upper Control Armsbest decision ever. My old ones were more worn out than my patience in traffic, and these brought my steering back to life. Installation was straightforward, everything fit like it should, and the ball joints came pre-installed, which saved me a headache. The truck handles way better nowno more random clunks, wandering steering, or feeling like I'm piloting a boat in a windstorm. Solid quality, great price, and my front end finally feels tight again. Highly recommendyour truck (and your alignment guy) will thank you!
