It's a great price for a great AC that works well. I bought it for my 2016 Rav4. A tip, though: be sure to verify what engine your Rav4 has before buying; at first, I bought the wrong one.

I recently installed this compressor in my 2007 Toyota Tundra, which has nearly 350,000 miles on it. The original unit finally gave out after years of reliable service; the clutch failed, which the truck signaled by flashing the AC light on the dash and blowing warm air.
Given the age and mileage of the truck, I couldn't justify the high cost of an OEM Toyota replacement, so I decided to take a chance on this budget-friendly unit. I am very impressed so far.
The installation was straightforward after watching a few tutorials. The unit included two new O-rings for the hose ends, which was great. One thing to note for other DIYers: my old compressor had a small fitting between one hose and the compressor that I had to swap over to the new unit. Since this kit only included the two main O-rings, I reused the factory O-ring on that specific fitting.
After recovering the gases, swapping the units, and recharging the system, the AC is blowing ice-cold just in time for the summer heat. I only have a few hundred miles on it so far, but it is performing exactly as it should at a fraction of the price of a name-brand compressor. I'm hoping for the best regarding long-term longevity, but for now, I'm thrilled to have a cool cabin again. This is definitely worth the investment if you're looking for an affordable way to keep a high-mileage workhorse on the road!
