4x156 ATV Wheel Spacers for Polaris Ranger and RZR Fitment
These BDFHYK 4x156 ATV wheel spacers are designed for compatible Polaris Ranger and RZR applications that use a 4x156 bolt pattern, 131 mm center opening, and M12x1.5 wheel hardware. The set includes four spacers so the same thickness can be installed at all four wheel positions.
This type of spacer is useful when an ATV or UTV wheel sits too far inward, a wider tire is close to a suspension or steering component, or the vehicle needs a more outward wheel position after a wheel and tire change. It does not correct an incorrect bolt pattern, center opening, or thread pitch. All three specifications must match before installation.
When These ATV Wheel Spacers Make Sense
- Larger or wider tires: Moving the wheels outward may create additional space between the tire sidewall and inner suspension or steering components.
- High-positive-offset wheels: A spacer can compensate for a wheel that places the tire farther inward than the original setup.
- Trail and utility setups: A wider wheel position can provide the clearance needed for a modified suspension, replacement wheels, or a different tire profile.
- Uneven visual stance: A four-piece set allows the same spacer thickness to be used at the front and rear when the complete vehicle requires adjustment.
Choose Between 1 Inch and 1.5 Inch
The 1 inch option provides a more moderate change in wheel position. It is generally the better starting point when the goal is to gain limited inner clearance without moving the tires too close to the fenders. The 1.5 inch option moves each wheel farther outward and may be useful with wider tires or more aggressive wheel offset.
More thickness is not automatically better. Measure the current distance from the tire to the suspension, steering components, fender edge, and body panels. Check clearance with the steering turned fully in both directions and with the suspension compressed.
Key Fitment Parameters
- Vehicle and wheel bolt pattern: 4x156
- Center opening: 131 mm
- Thread pitch: M12x1.5
- Available thickness: 1 inch or 1.5 inch
- Package quantity: Set of 4
- Design: Bolt-on ATV wheel spacer with no raised hub lip
Because this is a no-lip design, the 131 mm opening provides hub clearance rather than a vehicle-specific raised centering register. Confirm that the wheel can seat flat and be centered correctly by the matching lug hardware.
Installation Checks Before Trail Use
Clean rust, dirt, paint buildup, and debris from the hub mounting face. Test-fit each spacer and make sure it sits completely flat before tightening. Verify that the original studs do not interfere with the back of the wheel and that the wheel has enough pocket depth if any stud protrusion remains.
Use the vehicle or hardware manufacturer's torque procedure, tighten in a star pattern, and re-check torque after the initial drive. Inspect wheel and tire clearance at full steering lock and through suspension travel before normal use. Do not stack wheel spacers, and use professional installation when the correct fitment or torque procedure is uncertain.
