BDFHYK 12 Gallon Black Aluminum Fuel Cell Tank

When a custom drift, racing, street-performance, or auxiliary fuel system needs a 12-gallon reservoir, this black aluminum fuel cell tank may be a component to consider after the complete fuel-system layout is confirmed. The included 3–90 ohm level sender provides a fuel-level signal to a compatible gauge, while the internal splash-control foam helps reduce fuel movement and slosh inside the tank. It is a universal-style tank rather than a vehicle-specific direct-fit replacement. Before ordering, measure the mounting area and confirm the AN10 connections, sender and gauge compatibility, required venting, rollover protection, and compatibility of every component with the intended fuel.

Fuel Cell Tank Specifications

  • Capacity: 12 gallon

  • Overall size: 19.9 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 9.05 inches high

Fitment Buyers Should Confirm

  • This is a universal-style custom-installation tank and is not a bolt-in replacement for a specific vehicle.
  • Measure the installation area and verify mounting-tab locations, service access, hose routing, and clearance from the exhaust, driveline, suspension, and other moving parts.
  • Confirm that the included sender resistance matches the intended gauge, and follow the sender and gauge manufacturers' wiring instructions.
  • Confirm the required pump, filter, regulator, supply and return layout, vent, and rollover valve for the complete system.

Fuel Compatibility and System Safety

Fuel compatibility must be confirmed for the complete system, not only the aluminum tank. Verify the internal foam, level sender, cap, seals, AN fittings, hoses, pump, filter, and regulator for the intended gasoline, diesel, ethanol-blend, methanol, or other fuel. Do not use the tank with a fuel or hose material unless the component manufacturers confirm compatibility.

  • Do not assume this tank is FIA-, SFI-, DOT-, FMVSS-, or CARB-certified. No such certification is specified for this product.
  • Install suitable fuel-system venting and rollover protection for the application.
  • Keep the tank and fuel lines away from heat, sparks, and moving components, and use secure mounting hardware designed for the installation.

Before You Install

  • Professional fuel-system design and installation are recommended.
  • Inspect the tank, cap, fittings, sender, and foam before installation.
  • Use fuel-rated hoses, fittings, and seals suitable for the intended fuel and system pressure.
  • Leak-check all connections in a safe, well-ventilated area before operating the vehicle.
  • Inspect the internal foam periodically and replace it if deterioration, swelling, or debris is found.

This is a universal-style aftermarket fuel tank for custom installation, not a vehicle-specific direct replacement or factory-branded part.
