Installation Notes & 4-Step Guide

Important: Classic vehicles may have modified engines, brackets, pulleys, hoses, or electrical systems. Compare the original setup carefully and confirm fan clearance and wiring requirements before installation. Professional installation is recommended.

1. Drain: Allow the engine to cool completely, remove the radiator cap carefully, and drain the old coolant into a suitable container.
2. Remove: Disconnect the radiator hoses, overflow hose, fan shroud or existing fan components, and factory mounting hardware. Remove the old radiator carefully.
3. Install: Compare the radiator dimensions and mounting points, install the new radiator, then mount the electric fan and thermostat switch according to the supplied instructions and available clearance.
4. Refill & Test: Reconnect all hoses, refill with the vehicle manufacturer-recommended coolant mixture, bleed trapped air, verify fan operation, and inspect all connections for leaks.

After installation: Inspect the hoses, clamps, radiator cap, thermostat, water pump, wiring, fan direction, and fan clearance. Recheck coolant level and all mounting points after the first drive and again after the engine cools.
