Extended cranking, low measured fuel pressure, hesitation during acceleration, intermittent stalling, or an inaccurate fuel gauge can indicate an in-tank module fault after the fuse, relay, power supply, ground, wiring, and fuel lines have been tested. This E2479M replacement module is intended for specified 2007–2010 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX models with the 3.5L V6 gasoline engine. Confirm the model, year, engine, OE number, electrical connector, single quick-connect outlet, flange, module height, pressure-sensor arrangement, and float-arm geometry before ordering.

Fuel Pump Module Fitment for Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX

Verified coverage includes selected 2007–2010 Edge and MKX 3.5L gasoline configurations. Similar modules can differ in connector keying, outlet orientation, tank-pressure components, flange shape, reservoir depth, or sender calibration.

Fitment Verification

  • Confirm a 2007–2010 Ford Edge or Lincoln MKX with the 3.5L V6 gasoline engine.
  • Match E2479M, 7T4Z-9H307-B, 7T4Z-9H307-H, 8T4Z-9H307-B, FG1206, P76458M, or SP2374M.
  • Compare the electrical connector and single quick-connect fuel outlet with the removed module.
  • Verify the flange, reservoir, module height, sender/float position, and pressure-sensor arrangement.

Module Functions and Included Components

  • Electric 12-volt in-tank pump supplies fuel to the engine-side delivery system.
  • Fuel-level sensor, float arm, reservoir, and inlet strainer support pickup and gauge reporting.
  • A tank seal is included in the verified configuration.
  • The verified configuration is listed without a fuel-pressure sensor.

Symptoms and Diagnostic Checks

Measure fuel pressure before replacing the module. Test voltage and ground under load, inspect the fuse and relay, and check the connector, outlet, sender circuit, and tank-pressure components. Restricted lines, damaged wiring, tank contamination, sender faults, or engine-management problems can create similar symptoms.

Installation Notes

Relieve fuel-system pressure, disconnect the battery, and access or support the tank safely. Clean the tank and sealing surface, install the supplied compatible seal, keep the float arm clear, and secure the module evenly. Prime the system, inspect the flange and outlet for leaks, measure fuel pressure, and confirm normal gauge operation.

My last cheapo pump lasted five years

Good price, works well so far. When installing a new tank..it is the right time to install a new pump and sending unit.

Quieter than oem

I can barely hear it turn on. It would have to be 3 o'clock in the morning to hear it clearly but not during the day. 400 miles in and so far so good. Plenty of pics attached. Oem in pic

1000 Mile update: when filling tank will say full until tank is 5/8-3/4. There's no in between. No "real" issue there

Pump it up

Seems like a good replacement. The wiring instructions are incorrect and caused it to not turn on. After looking up the proper diagram on line it came right on.

Same as your local auto parts dealer.

I paid about a third of what they wanted from the local supply house. Same pump. Going on my 3rd week and it's performing great. Save yourself some cash and buy it.
