Extended cranking, low measured fuel pressure, hesitation under load, intermittent stalling, an EVAP-related fault, or an inaccurate fuel gauge can indicate an in-tank module problem after the fuse, relay, power supply, ground, wiring, and fuel lines have been tested. This E3705M replacement module is intended for specified 2005–2007 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon 5.3L V8 flex-fuel applications. Confirm the fuel type, OE number, two electrical connectors, fuel-line layout, pressure-sensor configuration, flange, module height, and float-arm geometry before ordering.

Flex-Fuel Pump Module Fitment for Tahoe and Yukon

Verified coverage is limited to selected 2005–2007 Tahoe and Yukon 5.3L V8 flex-fuel configurations. A gasoline-only module or an assembly with different connectors, fuel ports, tank-pressure sensor, sender calibration, or reservoir depth is not interchangeable solely because the model and year match.

Fitment Verification

  • Confirm a 2005–2007 Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon with the 5.3L V8 flex-fuel system.
  • Match E3705M, FG0816, SP6087M, P77007M, 19133546, 19133578, 19168418, 19168419, 19208960, 19208961, or 88965802.
  • Compare the four-terminal and three-terminal electrical connectors with the removed module.
  • Verify the fuel-line connections, pressure-sensor arrangement, flange, reservoir, module height, and float-arm direction.

Module Functions and Service Components

  • Electric in-tank pump supplies fuel to the engine-side delivery system.
  • Fuel-level sending unit and float arm report tank level to the instrument cluster.
  • Pressure-sensor, reservoir, inlet strainer, and tank-seal functions must match the original assembly.
  • Sender calibration is approximately 43 ohms at empty and 257 ohms at full in applicable catalog data; verify against the original module.

Symptoms and Diagnostic Checks

Measure fuel pressure before replacing the module. Test voltage and ground at the module under load, inspect the fuse and relay, and check the two connectors, fuel lines, sender circuit, and tank-pressure sensor. A flex-fuel mismatch, restricted line, damaged wiring, EVAP fault, tank contamination, or engine-management problem can produce similar symptoms.

Installation Notes

Relieve fuel-system pressure, disconnect the battery, and support the tank safely. Clean the tank and sealing surface, install the correct new seal and approved service hardware, keep the float arm clear, and reconnect each line and connector correctly. Prime the system, inspect the flange and lines for leaks, measure fuel pressure, scan the pressure-sensor circuit, and confirm normal gauge operation.

My last cheapo pump lasted five years

Good price, works well so far. When installing a new tank..it is the right time to install a new pump and sending unit.

Quieter than oem

I can barely hear it turn on. It would have to be 3 o'clock in the morning to hear it clearly but not during the day. 400 miles in and so far so good. Plenty of pics attached. Oem in pic

1000 Mile update: when filling tank will say full until tank is 5/8-3/4. There's no in between. No "real" issue there

Worked great on my 2008 Gmc sierra 5.3L engine. Different by design but works and fit nice.

Pump it up

Seems like a good replacement. The wiring instructions are incorrect and caused it to not turn on. After looking up the proper diagram on line it came right on.

Same as your local auto parts dealer.

I paid about a third of what they wanted from the local supply house. Same pump. Going on my 3rd week and it's performing great. Save yourself some cash and buy it.
