Extended cranking, intermittent no-start, low fuel pressure, hesitation, stalling, or an inaccurate fuel gauge can indicate an in-tank module problem, but relay, wiring, ground, pressure-control, and contamination faults should be tested first. The BDFHYK E7142M is an aftermarket fuel pump module for select Dodge Neon and Plymouth Neon gasoline applications. Engine and trim matter, especially when comparing a 2.0L non-turbo Neon with a 2.4L SRT-4 configuration.

This in-tank assembly combines the electric pump, pickup and strainer arrangement, and fuel-level sender configuration. It is not a universal Neon module.

Reference numbers include E7142M, P75027M, P76227M, FG0426, FG0430, SP7142M, F3153A, 402-P7142M, 5018697AA, 5101795AA, and 323-01369. Match both the reference and the physical module.
Diagnose the Neon Fuel System Before Replacement
- Measure fuel pressure and confirm pump power and ground.
- Check fuse, relay, connector condition, voltage drop, and wiring.
- Inspect pressure-control components and clean contamination from the tank.
- Test the gauge circuit separately when fuel delivery is normal.
Dodge and Plymouth Neon Installation Notes
- Relieve pressure, disconnect the battery, and remove ignition sources.
- Clean the tank area before opening it.
- Compare connector, flange, lines, depth, pickup, float travel, seal, and lock-ring interface.

Good price, works well so far. When installing a new tank..it is the right time to install a new pump and sending unit.

I can barely hear it turn on. It would have to be 3 o'clock in the morning to hear it clearly but not during the day. 400 miles in and so far so good. Plenty of pics attached. Oem in pic
1000 Mile update: when filling tank will say full until tank is 5/8-3/4. There's no in between. No "real" issue there

Worked great on my 2008 Gmc sierra 5.3L engine. Different by design but works and fit nice.

Seems like a good replacement. The wiring instructions are incorrect and caused it to not turn on. After looking up the proper diagram on line it came right on.

Looks good but don't fit on my 2011 Chrysler 200 v6 like the description says, top part is different and connector don't fit!

I paid about a third of what they wanted from the local supply house. Same pump. Going on my 3rd week and it's performing great. Save yourself some cash and buy it.

Horrible. Don't go cheap ! I bought for a temporary replacement but it still didn't. Work. The fuel pump wasn't giving out any fuel pressure came to find out it wasn't giving any current.

Bought for a 2013 GMC sierra 4.8lt. Works great. Been installed for a year. Working as It should. I did silicone around electrical connections. They didn't look very liquid tite.
