Installation is a little tricky & 2 guards broke at the same place in a matter of months

Initially, these felt like good quality splash-guards.
Installation is a little tricky since the one screw-hole is too obstructed by the shape of these to use the original hex-head fastener and socket.
However, I was able to use a Phillips screw and driver at a slight angle to secure them.

Unfortunately, the drivers side front splash-guard broke almost completely off after only 3 months.
It appears that the plastic is very thin where the mounting flange meets the shield portion of the splash-guard, since the crack follows this line exactly.

The other 3 seem to be OK so far.

Follow-u?
Another one came apart in about 5 months.
Unfortunately, they seem to last long enough to get past the return window.
