Can't speak to any part of installation because I am not a mechanic, but the actual parts are good quality and my mechanic was impressed with what I gave him. I'm not sure how easy it will be to install, so I am having a garage do the install. This price seems to be very reasonable and comparable to others I have looked at before ordering this one. This looks like a low cost option for a gmc truck upper ball joint. I have done a couple of these over the years and this looks like the other budget minded parts I have got from the big box type part stores for a lower price. The finish looks decent but 4 stars because it scratch pretty easy. In a year of use, I suspect this will look like a rusty 10 year old part. I have not installed this yet but it mocks up like it will fit well.
